I am sure you will know which one when you read it because it is about the same problems I am reporting here. I was only 10 feet away from the router with strong signal.
I am using WPA2 and will try turning that security mode off to see if the wireless drop outs and disconnects go away. While watching the ping responses roll in, I start a large file transfer from one wireless PC shared directory to my other wireless PC. But the chances of that are very slim indeed I guess.

DocLarge Premium Member Feb 9: When i install the card it seems to get installed fine in the device manager and with the raid configurerer application that went with the driver. The transfers will take forever as packets are continuously dropped and renegotiated or the transfer will fail with “lost connection to remote host” error. It seems to hold the connection. All of my wireless cards are 54g and work very well with the n as it stands. If you have this router and experience same problem s please report it to Linksys support.
